DigiPan

Digital Panoramic Tuning for PSK31 and PSK63

DigiPan brought the ease and simplicity of panoramic reception to PSK31 and PSK63 operation. The program provided a panoramic display of the frequency spectrum in the form of an active dial scale extending the full width of the computer screen, allowing operators to see 40-50 PSK31 stations at once.

Key Features

Panoramic Display

Wideband waterfall display showing all PSK signals across the receiver passband

Point-and-Click Tuning

Revolutionary mouse-based tuning replaced manual transceiver adjustment

Multichannel Decode

Version 2.0 decoded all visible stations simultaneously with CQ alerts

PSK31 & PSK63

Support for both standard PSK31 and the faster PSK63 mode

About DigiPan

DigiPan 1.0 forever changed how PSK31 tuning was done—from manually tuning the transceiver to point-and-click mouse tuning. A signal on the waterfall could be clicked to instantly see the station's callsign and decide whether to make contact.

DigiPan 2.0 took this further by decoding all stations on the waterfall simultaneously, displaying each callsign and text on a multichannel display. CQ calls were highlighted in color, making it trivial to find and respond to calling stations.

The software worked especially well with wideband IF transceivers like the PSK-20, PSK-30, PSK-40, and Warbler kits from Small Wonder Labs, which provided a 3000 Hz wide IF bandwidth.

System Requirements

DigiPan 2.0: 266 MHz Pentium or faster, Windows 95 or later

DigiPan 1.7: Available for slower systems
